Hexagon Study Barn
- The Hexagon can accommodates approximately 15 adults , or up to 20 if children are included.
- It has a large log burner which we can load and light for you (£10 extra). A single loading will keep the Hexagon warm for at least 8 hours. Kettles (supplied)can be heated on top. No cooking inside please.
- There is a veranda area on 4 sides for extended weather protection.
- It is accessible, with care, to people in wheelchairs or mobility scooters - an able-bodied companion is strongly advised
- There is a disabled-friendly toilet
- Solar power provides light and phone-charging, but not plug-in (240v) electrical equipment.
- A generator can be provided in special circumstances

Octagon Open-sided Shelter
- Located near the log stores at the top of the woods
- It is particularly suited to those wishing to spend most of the visit outdoors in anticipation of fair weather, but requiring somewhere if a shower comes through.
- This is situated at the top of the wood as a shelter from wind and rain. It doubles as a wood store in the eaves, and is open on 3 sides.
- Outdoor clothing suitable for the season is required.
- There is a toilet shack 50 yards away
- This site is not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility vehicles or those with significant mobility issues. Gradients are steep and there are rocky outcrops.
